Andy Baxter and Phil Mountain
 

​​Andy and Phil are the joint directors of BML. We have each worked in air safety for over 25yrs, sit on the current ICAO Wildlife Hazard Management (WHM)  Expert Group, wrote the EASA together for safety initiatives for WHM and both work across the world to assist airports, airlines and the insurance industry with delivering best practice standards.

Birdstrike Consultant

Andy currently heads our UK airport compliance check program and has over 20 years direct experience in wildlife hazard management at airports.

Andy leads on many of our specific customer projects, is embedded across UK training programs and development and provides deep ornithological understanding and experience to help our clients reduce the risks they face from birdstrikes.

Darren leads on our European Airline delivery program having worked on airport wildlife hazard management and safety controls and provides huge direct experience of management planning and safeguarding back up to Sara.

Lee heads up our periodic standards check program for the RAF and other military bases around the world and has over 25 years ornithological experience at aerodromes across the UK and Europe.

Dr John Allan leads on our scientific advisory services and intercontinental airline and airport services - currently off-books working to assist the UK with Avian Influenza and wild bird policy.

Sara heads up our safeguarding, development and WHMP projects bringing over 20 years experience of assisting aerodromes, planners and developers in meeting and delivering safe developments around aerodromes.
